Tuition Rates for August 2008-June 2009 school year are
based on the following criteria:
A supporting parishioner for the 2008-09 school year is a registered
member of St. Gerald Church whose contributions to the parish for
the calendar year January 2008-December 2008, meets or
exceeds the suggested $7.00 weekly donation. A non-supporting
parishioner is not a registered or contributing member of St. Gerald
Church. Tuition and Family Fundraising Fee do not cover the entire
cost of educating your child. Parish Subsidy/Scholarship and Dinner
Dance are key components of the total budget figure. For families
who have both pre-school or am-kindergarten children and full-time
students, the tuition will be the lesser of individual tuition costs
or the family plan cost. (For example for one child in 4 year old
preschool for 4 days and 2 children in grades K-8 you would pay
$7,008.00 not $7,020.) Family tuition will be the lower of
individual tuition costs or the family plan.
Payment Schedule/Terms
Annual tuition K-8 is payable on a 10 month
payment plan. (September 1st through and including June 1st)
Preschool 3 and 4 year old programs, and Kindergarten (only child)
is on a 9 month basis.
(September 1st through and including May 1st)
A late fee of $20.00 per month, each month, will be assessed for
payments not received on or before the 16th of each month.
Checks returned for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) will be charged
$25.00 per check. Two NSF checks during the school year will require
tuition to be paid by cash, cashiers check, or money order.
Fees: 2008-2009 Books:
$160.00 + Computer Lab Fee $30.00 + Instant Call Notification $5.00
= $195.00
Graduation Fee – 2008-2009:
Graduation Fee for 8th Grade is $45.00 due on book days.
Family Fundraising Fee 2008-2009 is
part of the “Total Tuition Package”
The Family Fundraising Fee can be fulfilled
with scheduled school fundraisers: Giant Steps, Manna Tuition
Credits used for Fundraising Fee, (when not used toward tuition),
Recess Credits used for Fundraising Fee, (when not used toward
tuition), and whatever methods approved by the Development Office.
Donations made to outside organizations, Mothers’ Club Fundraising
(gift wrap, Fannie May), Market Day, Sports, etc are not included in
the Family Fundraising Fee. Remember, this plan offsets additional
tuition increases for the school with a guaranteed income for the
school. The Family Fundraising Fee can be paid in full at “Book
Days” in August, and must be paid in full on “Walk-a-Thon” due date,
October 13th.
Book Fee Day – Monday, August 4th
– 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:00pm (One day only)
Pay book bill & Pick up Family Folder
All families need to come in and pick up
folder and pay fees. If unable to be here due to vacation, send
payment ahead to school and folder will be held until you can pick
it up.
